Cat Made From Lego Bricks!

Ok, they’re not exactly Lego, but very similar. A company called JEKCA holds the patent for their own “building blocks for kidults”, and you can buy sets of just about anything from them to build your own cat, dog, fast food, Hello Kitty characters, and even furniture!

I was a lucky winner in one of The Purrington Post‘s give aways and won a beautiful tabby cat (I was able to choose one from various cat models) which “only” took me about 25 hours to put together! When I first saw the instructions, I was like “WTF!!!! That’ll take me a year to build!!!”, but once I studied them carefully (they are all in pictures, like IKEA instructions), it turned out to be quite easy to follow.

So here are pictures and a couple of videos of the various stages, and the end result at the bottom!

I put the kitty near Spider’s shrine (you can see his urn on the little shelf on the wall in the background).
