Calico Cat Café in Tokyo – Photos & Video
While in Tokyo last week, I had to check out a cat café (or two!) while there – you pay for 1/2 hour or an hour (or more), get yourself a green tea or other refreshment, some treats for the kitties, and then play and spend time with the cats that live there. The cats I met appear really well looked after – the smooshie-faced Persians get their eyes and nose cleaned and all the long-haired breeds´ fur is in beautiful condition, plus there is a separate “quarantine” section where I saw one cat with a radardish collar. I found a myriad of different breeds – as you can see in the pics, there is an Aby, a Scottish Fold, a Norwegian Forest, American Curl, Persian, Bengal, British Blue, and there was even a Janelle clone (golden shaded Persian) at the second cat café, the “Nekobukuro”, I went to (last 3 pics at the bottom). Watch out, there are LOTS of pics! 🙂

They sell some nice cat calendars of the cats in the café there too…
